I spent an all-too-brief couple of days with my friend, editor and co-woodworker Randy Johnson from American Woodworker over the Friday and Saturday and we caught up on a wide range of woodworking issues of concern to us both. Sharing anecdotes and discussing the future of woodworking in the US.

The workshop seems empty today. I enjoyed finishing up a few outstanding projects and meeting the visitors. Sold a piece too. People really like the Hope Chest but I can’t sell it until we have filmed it for the next DVD series and completed all the photography. I think

A handful of seven-year-olds tumbled into the New Legacy workshop with their teachers and so I made them how to make a wooden spatula and wrote their names on a stick of wood. During their visit to Penrhyn Castle, the children visit the Victorian schoolroom, to learn about school life
