Thank You, Everyone!

Just a quick scribble to say thank you all for such kind comments here. I am still on a bit of a cloud. I have learned that even negative things in your life can ultimately train you for good that comes later when you least expect it. Being told at age 14 that, "Paul can never be educated!" prepared me to develop differently and brought me into a mentoring relationship for six years. This man changed my life just be seeing what I could not. Did my police career train me to become a pastor? Of course, it did. It enabled me to become the solution in situations where others just blamed others.

Your comments have also enriched my life, both on the blog and elsewhere. It's not about validation but honour. Being recognised has been nice. `it's been a long haul, and in the early days it was very much all up hill. Today, I feel so grateful for my life as a maker designing furniture and such, but also for all of the people in my life who share their love and care for me in so many ways.

Thank you!
