Good Morning Everyone
This is another time of year that maybe parallels the end of the last one. We did so much work in the face of issues we mostly had never faced before. My hands continued finding work to promote hand working with wood and so many of you followed to gain the skills you might not have fully owned before then. As I might have encouraged you, you encouraged me. A guitar and a violin lay against two opposing walls and a third instrument with strings is bowed and plucked and the strings of the other two begin to resonate with one another until three sets of strings sympathise in harmony. So it is with those who craft with their hands no matter the craft and the art of it.

In the workshop today, several of us are all making. Music comes from a plane and a saw, a mallet chopping with the chisel punctuates a certain rhythm set into motion by the other tools and my mind releases its chemistry of joy for me to keep an accompanying rhythmic pace. So it is when my hands are busy and I make and we film the making of something that then trains others in the art of my craft on each continent. There is a resonance in the Asian continent, the African continent and the whole of America, North and South. Then, of course, far from the least in any way, we have our wonderful European world, Antarctica and Australasia. My guitar is leaning against the wall after I have made and it rests there and soon I touch a string and I can feel the first faint flutter to the strings beneath my fingertips. So it is with crafting our work togetherly.

This is my time to say thank you. Thank you for absorbing some of my faults and failures and then too my successes. Your support through covid, all lower case, has reflected your desire to become people of care. Your support has been reflective of the hearts of those who find a certain measure of healing and hope as they make.
Thank you!
